Prana Zion Stretch Short

It would be my third pair.  I am a proud owner of the Stretch Zion pants and one pair of the shorts. I wear the shorts often enough I would love having another pair.

These shorts are made of nylon and spandex.  They are both comfortable and durable.  Even the pants are comfortable enough to sleep in.  In fact, they are as comfortable as wearing pajama pants.

One thing to note about these shorts is that they are long (just how I like them).  I am 6'1", and the size large shorts hit just above the bottom of my knee.

Arc'teryx Alpha FL Jacket

I have spent hours pouring over the reviews at Outdoor Gear Lab for a hardshell jacket. This one is top-rated.  I have an Arc'teryx wind-breaker that is both surprisingly light and warm (not warm in snowy-cold winter weather, but great for the other three seasons).  Arc'teryx certainly goes the extra mile in their designs to get maximum utility out of minimal materials. I also love the Westcomb Shift LT (which was second on the Outdoor Gear Lab's review).  What intrigues me about the Shift is the Polartec Neoshell fabric which is softer and more breathable than the Gore-tex based Alpha FL. Go-Lite used to direct sell jackets of this quality for half the price.  It's just too bad they went out of business.  Hopefully, they will make a comeback.

Cotopaxi Sambaya Stretch Fleece (or anything Cotopaxi)

The Utah outdoor startup community is not enormous by any measure.  That being the case, I have run in to Cotopaxi's CEO on several occasions.  I really admire what he is doing with Cotopaxi.  They're stuff is great, and for each purchase a portion of the proceeds goes to a cause.  That said, I want thifleece.

ALPS Mountaineering Mystique 1.5 Tent

As far as I can tell, this is one of the best value backpacking tents on Amazon.  It's probably too heavy to take on the PCT, but I am just looking for something for one to three night backpacking trips.

If you have this tent and love or hate it, please let me know.

Triad Notorious 2 Drift Trike

My daughter has her heart set on a scooter from Santa this year.  If he can bring her a scooter, I don't see why he wouldn't be able to bring me this drift trike so that we can rule the road together!
